Healing school
"Gods Embassy" church existed already for several year when we had the impression that God told us to start a healing school. This thought didn't leave our mind, and after a lot of time, prayer and study, we decided to take this plunge.
I myself had already left behind my civil job for a while, but to realize this project, also Ann and Nadine had to stop their general practice and Inger should leave her nursing job. This they did respectively in October and November 2004. In February 2005 the healingschool started officially. For us the school is not just a spot where people can come to receive healing. Here you learn how to live yourself in good health on a biblical foundation. For us, the next step is obviously to communicate and share this health with your fellow men. So the school certainly doesn't only apply to sick people, but to everybody who is interested in divine healing, both Christian and non-Christian. We also aim at care providers and social workers in every possible field, who can apply what they learned in their job. When we speak about healing, we certainly don't only mean the physical recovery. When Jesus talks in John 10:10 about life and abundance, it means health in the spirit, the soul and the body. Mental diseases, including depression with sometimes suicide as a consequence, occur very often in our society. Also in this domain we have many testimonies.For us, the healing school is not just another project in the Belgian care. We notice that, most of the time, our country has the "bad news stories" in the international press. As a Christian, you can be oppósed to many things in the government policy. It is proved by experience that being oppósed to something doesn't awake anybody's interest in faith. Consequently, and very decisively, we don't just want to be "oppósed to" something.We want to offer an alternative. as a matter of fact this is what Jesus did too.

CONFERENCES
Besides the courses the school also organizes special theme-days and conferences in which a certain topic is thouroughly studied and practised. Everyone is welcome even when you never attended a healing school.
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
A lot of people have the need to discuss their own situation. This is also possible via the healing school. You can make an appointment with the teachers for individual counseling. (charged: 25 euros per hour.)
